Krishna falls in love with Meenakshi at first sight who happens to be the younger daughter of Neelakanta which he knows later. Neelakanta's men kidnap all the friends of Errababu and Krishna, a happy go lucky guy from Hyderabad, is one among them. Subbalakshmi elopes with a guy called Errababu on the night of her arranged marriage. Neelakanta is a powerful man in his village who doesn't believe in love marriages.
This film revolves around a person named Neelakanta and his love for his two daughters Subbalakshmi and Meenakshi. This film's story made news for its similarity with the elopement drama of Arjun's cousin Srija, the daughter of actor Chiranjeevi with her then-boyfriend Sirish Bharadwaj though none of the mainstream media spoke about the co-incidence. Venkatesh handled the cinematography & editing of the film respectively. Dil Raju produced the film on Sri Venkateswara Creations whilst Mani Sharma scored the film soundtrack and background score. Allu Arjun, Sheela and Prakash Raj played the lead roles while Poonam Bajwa and Jayasudha made crucial cameo appearances.
